Marty McFly ~ TORONTO ~ Breaks
mcfly.ca
A
long long time ago.... In a Delorean far far away.. MartyMcFly started
mixing fun funky beats. He got his start in 1992 in the city of
Vancouver before cruisin' over to Toronto in 1995. He’s been mixing da
Breaks across North America ever since. Marty’s a breaker at heart and
total mixologist behind the decks. His love and enthusiasm for music
makes for a shit load of fun out on the dance floor. He has a little
website made strictly for dJ set downloaders: http://www.mcfly.ca
Saxon
Soulselecta, Konkrete Jungle, Futurhythm CHUO, Stamina ~ soulselecta.ca
Co-founder
and resident of Soulselecta Saturdays (since 2006) and Konkrete Jungle
Ottawa (since 2008), Saxon has booked and/or played 'longside many of
the capital’s top EDM DJs. His eclectic repetoire includes dubstep,
downtempo, reggae, dancehall, funk, breaks, house, electro, psy-trance,
jungle/dnb and anything in between. You can catch Saxon on air every
Wednesday on Futurhythm from 9-10pm EST on CHUO 89.1fm in Ottawa
(streaming online at chuo.fm), and every second and fourth Saturday
night at Brixton’s (210 Sparks St). Check soulselecta.ca for mix
downloads and event listings.
gamma
Soulselecta ~ soulselecta.ca
Gamma’s
not sure what people are saying about him, cause he can’t take the
headphones off his ears for long enough. What? Within months of
touching vinyl for the first time he took the High Noon competition by
storm, alternating his sets between hard trance and dnb – leaving him
the standing champion. He’s come a long way since. Dubstep, drum and
bass, electro house, breaks, fidget, minimal and tech house – he’s all
over the place like a flaming bowl of overcaffeinated grasshoppers with
ADD.

Maverick's (221 Rideau st)
Tickets available NOW at NormL Clothing (184 Rideau)
ROAR
Proof of Age required for entry.
How
do the prices work? Easy. If you have a ticket, you technically have
access to both floors. But only people who are 19 and older can go
upstairs.
While the upstairs room is only $5 at the door, those who do not pay for the show downstairs will be denied entry.
What
does this mean? First, if you want to see both floors, BUY A TICKET. It
will be cheaper than door price. Similarly, if you're not old enough
for the upstairs, BUY A TICKET, as it will be cheaper than door.
If
you just want to check out the Soulselecta residents and Marty McFly at
an awesome price, come and pay at the door. If you want to go
downstairs, you'll only have to pay the difference between what you
paid upstairs and the door price downstairs, so it doesn't cost you any
more or less than anybody else.
