The
Legend is back! One of the pioneers of hardcore, Luna C is a highly
respected British DJ and record producer. Known worldwide for his work,
his name has become synonymous with a versatile and varied style of
mixing, incorporating Breakbeat Hardcore, Freeform, Happy Hardcore, old
skool Hardcore and Drum ‘n’ Bass into his sets. You can expect to hear
remixes of just about anything and everything! Luna-C has produced and
released many of the top Breakbeat Hardcore anthems, from Shout Now,
Six Days and Take Me Away to My Angel, Piano Progression, and the list
goes on.
He made up a third of the rave group Smart E’s in 1992,
who shot to fame with their remix of the theme tune to Sesame Street
(Sesame’s Treet), which quickly sold over 50,000 copies worldwide! It
came in at number 2 on the UK Pop Charts, which at the time was the
highest debut ever! Following this huge success, he founded Kniteforce
Records in 1992, a now legendary label that has continued to have
following throughout hardcore music’s changes in popularity. Kniteforce
sprouted subsidiaries and Luna-C has produced HUNDREDS of tracks and
remixes either as Luna-C or under other aliases!!
DJing at raves
and clubs worldwide, Luna-C has become well respected in both his
native United Kingdom, and many other countries including Germany,
Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Japan and Poland.
His use of unreleased dubplates and DJ tools which he produces for the
purpose of playing live, is considered unique. These planned, but
innovative sets have been released free online, in a series called the
“Supasets”. Many of his releases on Kniteforce Records and sister label
Remix Records have received wide airplay amongst hardcore DJs. Some
like Piano Progression or Take Me Away and Six Days (as Cru-L-T with
fellow producer Jimmy J) have been considered classics of this style.
In more recent years on KFA, tracks like My Angel have received
critical acclaim from the UK music press.

JEN
MAS is the leading lady of hard dance music in North America. Founder
of the Vitus crew, she's maintained a strong electronic music scene
presence for over a decade, and has an invariably growing fan base that
spans the globe. Known for her lightning fast mixing and scratching
abilities, she continues to impress audiences everywhere with her
fast-paced DJ sets and mind-blowing track selections. While she is best
known for playing hardcore and hardstyle, she has also rocked many
other genres including drum and bass, electro, house, techno, and 80's
dance. She has proven time and again that she is a DJ without limits or
boundaries, and has raised the bar when it comes to showmanship on the
decks.
Voted one of the top 20 female DJs in the world by Shejay
magazine, Jen has proven that she is a renowned artist who is here to
stay. And that is no easy task, as hardcore has often been an
underrated and misunderstood genre and few ever got very far with it.
But her drive and dedication to pushing the sound along with an innate
ability to infect you with her music has turned many people onto it
which in turn has helped the genre get more recognition in America.
It's her fascination with variety and deep love for all music that are
the driving forces behind her unique DJ approach, and her diverse sets
are always an exhilarating and exciting aural experience, whether or
not the partygoers are hard dance music fans.
Jen is one of the
heavy hitters representing the New York City electronic scene, right
behind the original hardcore masters Lenny Dee, Delirium, Omar Santana
and Rob Gee. Gender has never been a factor in her success either, as
her skills have always spoken for themselves and she has rightfully
earned her place at the top. Never satisfied with anything and with an
unrelenting willingness to learn, she is constantly developing and
expanding her sound, and she strives to continue opening minds at every
performance. Her childhood training in classical piano and her natural
ear for music have not only played a pivotal role in her career but
have been her motivation to continue pushing her artistry to new

In
a crowded sea of faceless DJs and anonymous party scenes, Tamerax has
managed to separate himself from the pack, building a reputation and a
following that has seen him welcomed at events across North America.
His sets are constructed out of only the most thunderous and intense
tracks designed to drive any floor wild. Partiers instantly respond to
his mix of hard trance and Hardstyle, and his forays into freeform / UK
hardcore have met with the same level of success.
Part of what
sets Tamerax apart from other DJ’s is his relentless energy behind the
decks. His ability to engage the crowd through his sheer passion for
the music he is playing enables him to form a connection that few other
performers can lay claim.
Over the years Tamerax has been
privileged to play alongside some of the biggest names in the industry:
Hennes and Cold, Derb, Kev Energy, Uplift, Sc@r, Orbit1, Marc Smith,
Scott Brown, Sharkey, Lenny Dee, DJ Promo, Phosphor, Delta 9, AC Slater
, Omar Santana and Dodgee to name a few. He has himself earned a
respectable degree of recognition in the Ottawa scene where he was
twice voted Favorite DJ by partygoers (2004 and 2008) and
internationally through his featured sets on DI.fm. He has played at
some of the largest Montreal and Ottawa underground events in recent
history and was honoured to be able to play a set at the Hardsound
stage at the final World Electronic Music Festival in 2008.Exposure to
a wide range of styles lead him to branched out into production in
2001, eventually realizing his dream of building his own studio in
2007. With this solid foundation he managed to see his first release
take wing on Blizzard Tracks, Canada’s premier hardcore label. Positive
reviews for his tracks have poured in from the likes of Kev Energy,

Joe

World Electronic Music Festival and even the Grand Oasis in Punta Cana,

Hardstyle & Jumpstyle Vol. 2 by Trance Gold Records! Known for his

Dain-Ja
quickly established himself as Ottawa's premiere UK and happy hardcore
DJ. 3 deck technical mixing, storming track selection and complete

write the rushy, hard hitting dance music he loves.

Ever
since he was first introduced to rave when he got dragged out to see
The Prodigy in the UK in 1995, Crash has been in love with the
convergence of electronic and pop music, which he mixes with high
energy dance floor tunes and smooth basslines. A veteran of the Ottawa
scene, and known for his flawless mixing, Crash Override is a widely
respected performer who's sets are always well received.
Since
2005, Crash Override has appeared alongside heavy hitters such as
Luna-C, Last of the Mohicans, Rize, Bexxie, Tony Benino, No Left Turn,
Maximum Moves, Deck Teaser, DJ? Acucrack, Phosphor, The Liar's

Hashek
is considered a legend in these parts, with nearly 2 decades of
experience, he's easily one of the most talented DJs in this city and
has dedicated his life to techno & Psytrance music. Known as "The
3-Deck ninja", Hashek has been wowing people for years!

his more notable accomplishments include playing at Gloom (Ray Junior
Massive in a Castle!), Starting up Gunz&Bombz and being a huge part
of TeknoTurtle in its hay-day. More recently Hashek has created
Alweezgrooven, a collective of likeminded DJs responsible for some of
the hottest parties around town. He is also the driving force behind
the Teknival style events at Lac Dumont, and is a founding member of
Sounds CRMNL!

play alongside legendary names such as Spacegirl, Preach, Chris

has been really turning heads in the city recently, with his successful
launch of Sounds CRMNL, he has firmly planted himself as a pillar

Known to be natural when it
comes to DJing, TTL can mix with the best of them, often throwing down
some of the most energetic sets you will ever hear!! TTL has also been
busy working in the studio, producing his own brand of hard basslines
and grooves.
A 3 year resident DJ at DFF, and a regular guest at
many of the top events in town, including Sunrise after-hours, things

Toronto!!
Known to have a deep love of music, and a passion for

Woblz,
a.k.a. Supaman landed his first residency at the young age of 14 at a
local youth club in the EDM room playing hard trance and hard house for
4 years. He finally got his first gig opening at Celestial 2 playing
Hardstyle and has been rocking dance floors ever since!
He has
been a staple in the Ottawa rave and after-hours scene playing for
years along side, Omar Santana, Ophidian, Scott Brown, Manu le Malin,
Ill Gates and many others. He has also been in the promoting game for
over 7 years. Throwing a very successful hard dance night in Ottawa
with Joe Rowe, bringing in out of town artists and showcasing Ottawa's
great local talent.
Today he plays all over eastern Canada, from
Quebec city to Montreal and Toronto. Now Woblz has found a new sound: a
sound so great, so BASSY that it makes make the masses shake, the
sounds of the Dubstep. He is currently a resident for Sounds CRMNL
& Capital Bass Culture in Ottawa. --------------------------------------

a.k.a. Shawn Mercier has been rocking the decks for years, with gigs at
some of Ottawa's best events, including Sunrise, DFF, Exposure, Sounds

the primary organizer of the 2009 Floating T Dance, a pride festival
affiliated event hosted on a cruise ship!! This event, along with other
